How to Add YouTube Subscribe Button in WordPress
If you recently created your YouTube channel and publish site related videos on your channel, then embedding YouTube subscribe button on your WordPress site can be a good idea. It enhances your audience and brand awareness.
Here I will show you two ways to embed the YouTube subscriber button on the WordPress site.
- Using Code (Manually)
- Using WordPress Plugin
If you use the first method, then you need to insert one line code in your site.
Also, if you want to use a plugin, WordPress.org has many plugins that can help you.
1. Add YouTube Subscribe Button in WordPress Using Manual Code
If you want to add the YouTube subscribe button to your WordPress site manually, you will need to visit the YouTube Subscribe button page of the Google Developer website.
In this page, you need to enter your channel name or ID. You can also choose the layout, theme, and subscriber count option. You can see the screenshot below,
Once you’re done configuring the settings
Now log in to your WordPress site and click on Appearance >> Widgets. Next, drag and drop a text widget to your site widget area and paste subscribe button code in it.
Then click on the Save button after pasting the code.
You’ve successfully added the YouTube subscribe button to your blog or website.
2. Add YouTube Subscribe Button in WordPress Using Plugin
First, install and activate the YouTube Subscribe Bar plugin on your WordPress Blog or Website. Here is a guide – How to Install WordPress Plugins (3 different ways).
Once activated, you will need to click on Settings >> YouTube Subscribe Bar.
Here, add your YouTube channel ID. You can choose a layout, button theme, and show subscribers count. This plugin has many additional settings that you can configure.
After doing all the configuration, click on the Save Changes button.
Congratulation! You’ve successfully added the YouTube subscribe button to your site using the YouTube Subscribe Bar plugin.
