How to Configure Clearfy Plugin Settings
First, install and activate the Clearfy plugin in your site. Once activated, click on Settings >> Clearfy. This will take you to the plugin settings page.

Quick start

Quick start options activate the groups of necessary settings in one click. It enables only safe settings that do not break your website. But the plugin recommends you to look at each setting individually.
PERFORMANCE
This settings remove unnecessary links and code from the head section, as well as reduce your website’s pages weight.

In the screenshot above, I have checked the following boxes:
- Disable RSS feeds
- Disable Emojis
- Disable Embeds
- Remove RSD Link
- Removing XFN (XHTML Friends Network) Profile Link
- Remove wlwmanifest Link
- Remove Shortlink
- Remove links to previous, next post
- Remove .recentcomments styles
- Font Awesome asynchronous
- Disable Dashicons
- Disable Gravatars
- Remove Version from Script (Recommended)
- Remove Version from Stylesheet (Recommended)
Minify (Html/JS/CSS)
This setting optimizes your site’s Html / JS / CSS file. Just follow the screenshot below:

SEO

Above I have checked the settings:
- Automatically set the alt attribute (Recommended)
- Remove duplicate names in breadcrumbs WP SEO by Yoast (Recommended)
- Remove the tag image:image from XML site map (Recommended)
- Remove comment from head section (Recommended)

Options I checked:
- Remove archives date
- Remove author archives
- Remove attachment pages
- Remove ?replytocom
COMMENTS
If you want to disable comments on your site, through this plugin you can disable it with one click. Apart from this, it also provides you the option to disable comments for specific post types (Post, Page and Media).
Its comments clearing tools delete all comments in your database with one click and has an option for cleaning spam and trash comments with a single click.
UPDATES
This setting page enable or disable automatic updates. Although updating is a good thing, it makes your site more secure. But I don’t recommend for automatic updates. Whenever a plugin or theme gets an update, do it manually.
… so leave this setting the default.
DEFENCE

You will need to install the plugin for Malware Scanner, Firewall and Hide login page.
ADVANCED
However, you can enable and disable the option of this settings page according to your needs. In the widget section, you can disable unused widgets: Calendar, Tag Cloud, Archives, Meta etc.
