In CSS Options, I have checked the following boxes:
- Optimize CSS Code?
- Aggregate CSS-files?
- Also aggregate inline CSS?
- Inline and Defer CSS? (You need to install “Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up“ plugin and enter the criticalcss.com API Key, which is a premium service that can be availed for £7/month. Otherwise, keep it disabled)
As you can see, there are no advanced settings to optimize in HTML Options. Here just check the box of Optimize HTML Code?.
In this section, you can use CDN and set Lazy load for your images. This improves your website loading speed and reduces server load.
In this tab, you can remove query strings, emojis and Google Fonts from your site.
In Google Fonts you can choose “combine and link in head” option. This improves load times for fonts.
