#1. Disable Self Pingbacks in WordPress Using Plugins
There are two plugins that easily disable WordPress Self Pingbacks from your site.
a. Using No Self Pings Plugin
First, install and activate No Self Pings plugin on your site.
Once activated, you do not need to configure anything. This is a plug & play plugin without any extra configuration. Just activate plugin will automatically stop WordPress pingback (self-comment).
b. Using Disabler Plugin
After activating the plugin, it will add a new menu item under your Setting section with Disabler label. Click on Settings >> Disabler option. This will take you to the settings page of the plugin.
Here scroll down to the Back End Settings section and check the Disable self-pings box. As you can see in the screenshot,
Now click on the Save changes button. The plugin will automatically disable WordPress Self Pingback on your site.
