How to allow users to upload images in WordPress Comments
First, you need to install and activate the Comment Attachment plugin on your site to upload image file in WordPress Comments. After activating the plugin, go to Settings >> Discussion page and scroll down on the Comment Attachment section.
You can manage settings like field title, position, file types, image attachment size, etc for image attachment in the comments section. In addition, you can allow your users to attach the document, PDF, powerpoint presentation, excel spreadsheet, etc. You can see in the screenshot below,
After completing your settings, click on Save Changes button. Now you can check it by visiting your site.
If visitors upload images in the WordPress comments box, All images will store in your WordPress media library. If you want to delete an image uploaded by a visitor, you have to delete it by going to Media >> Library.
If you delete an image file from the comment section, then your comment text will not be affected.
