How to Change Mobile Number in Aadhar Card

At present, the Aadhaar card is used as an important document. In this case, it is very important to have all the information in the Aadhar card correct. UIDAI has released a new update regarding the Aadhaar card through which Aadhaar holders can update or change the registered mobile number in Aadhaar card online.

Procedure to Change Mobile Number in Aadhar Card:

Step 1. First of all, open the website https://ask1.uidai.gov.in/ and enter your phone number, captcha and click on Generate OTP.

Step 2. Enter your OTP and click on verify OTP.

Step 3. On the next page enter your Aadhaar number and Name On Aadhaar. Then choose State, City, and Aadhaar Seva Kendra.

Step 4. Now select the New Mobile No field to update or change the mobile number. And enter your mobile number.

Step 5. After that select “Appointment Date and Time” according to your choice.

Step 6. In the next page you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50. For this, you can use your ATM card, debit card.

You have to go to the Aadhaar center at the address mentioned on the appointment date.

What Information Can Be Updated in Aadhar Card?

According to UIDAI, any Aadhaar holder can update the name, address, date of birth, e-mail ID, mobile number, gender and biometric in his Aadhaar card.

But to update the mobile number, email ID in the Aadhaar card, you have to go to the Aadhaar center, which I have told you in detail above.
