How to Change the Default Gravatar on WordPress
First, you need to install and activate the WP User Avatar plugin on your WordPress site. With WP User Avatar, you can use any media library images as Gravatar.
- Upload your own Default Avatar from WordPress dashboard settings.
- Allow to disable Gravatar avatars and use only local avatars.
- Contributors and members can upload their own avatars.
- Set limit upload file size and image dimensions for Contributors and Subscribers.
- Allows to use a shortcode.
After activating the Plugin, it will add a new menu item in your WordPress site with Avatars label. Just click on it. This will take you to the plugin’s settings page.
Just follow the screenshot to change the default gravatar in WordPress with your own custom default gravatar image.
You just have to upload a custom avatar. Then click on the Save changes button and you’re ready to go.
Now you can visit your WordPress website to see your WordPress custom Avatar.
