Installing WordPress plugins is a process that is done in every self-hosted WordPress blog. WordPress offers three ways to install WordPress plugins on your blog. In this article we will cover those three Process to install plugin in WordPress Blog.

3 different ways to install WordPress plugins:
1. Search and install
This is the easiest way to install WordPress plugins in WordPress site. If you know the name of wordpress plugins, you can search and install it directly from WordPress Admin dashboard area.
Simply, login to the WordPress admin area of your blog and by visiting the wordpress plugin page, click Plugins >> Add New. Then write the name of the WordPress plugins in the search box at the top right, Now you can see your plugin in Search Result.

You can click “More Details” to see more information before Install WordPress Plugins. Make sure plugins are compatible with your current WordPress version.
To install, just click on “Install Now” and then click “Activate” Button.
Next step, go to the settings panel of the plugin and make changes to necessary settings. After installing any new WordPress plugins, always configure its settings.
2. Download Install WordPress Plugins from Third Party Sites
First of all, you have to download the plugin that you want to install in your WordPress Blog.
After this you can upload the downloaded .zip file by going to the wordpress plugin page of your WordPress admin area and install it. Click on “Upload Plugin” and upload the .zip file directly in your WordPress website from your computer. After this you can activate the Upload WP plugins.
3. Install wordpress plugin via FTP
If you are unable to install wordpress plugin using the wordpress plugin page then you can use the FTP method.
Download the plugin from the WordPress plugin library, then unzip it, and upload it to your WordPress using your FTP software. Generally, the plugin is stored in the wp-content >> plugins folder.
After uploading the file, you can simply activate wordpress plugins by going to the wordpress plugin page of WP dashboard.
