Apart from this, do not buy backlinks for your site, otherwise, Google will penalize your website because such backlinks also contain low quality and pornographic sites links. These links show bad link building strategies on your site.
But if you have created bad backlinks for your website then follow this post. Here we will tell you how to remove bad backlinks from a website using Google Disavow Tool.
Method 1: Using Google Search Console Tool
First, log in to Google Search Console Tool, then click on the Link >> Top linking sites >> More. Here you will see sites that are linked to your site and giving backlinks to you. You can see in the screenshot below.
After that click Download button to download this list.
Now you have to check it yourself whether there is any spam link or toxics link. If you find any spammy, unrelated or unnatural links in this list, write it in your notepad. In the next step, we will tell how to remove it. Because here We will know about another method of detecting spam backlinks.
Method 2: Using Moz Explorer
Moz is a very big SEO company that analyzes inbound links, linking domain, anchor text, Spam score etc of any website. This is a paid tool but you can use it for free with limited time.
First, visit Moz Link Explorer site and sign up or sign in.
- Add the URL address of the site and click on the search icon.
- Now click on Spam Score in the left side.
You will now be able to see the list of spam backlinks. But the bad news is that here you will show few links. You will need to buy a paid plan to see the rest of the link.
Now, click on Export CSV to download the spam link list. All the sites available in this list are spammy which may have a bad impact on your site’s search ranking. So it is very important to remove them.
Now, let’s start to disavow backlinks…
A few years ago, There was no easy way to control such bad backlinks.
But thankfully, Google launched a Google Disavow Tool that allows webmasters to report and submit a text file to remove spam link or toxics link.
Google does not value those domain links for which you reported using the Google Disavow Link Tool.
To remove Spammy Backlinks from your site, first, create a text file and type Spammy Backlinks (low-quality links) or Domain that you want to remove from your site.
Once your bad backlinks list is ready, go to the Google Disavow tool page and select your domain from the drop-down, then click on Disavow links.
Then click on the Disavow links in the next page, now a pop-up will open, here just upload your spam link’s text file and click on submit button.
Now you will see a successful message.
After uploading the file, wait 1-2 weeks to see its effect, because Google will reindex and crawl those pages again.
